I just hopped on the forum for the first time in a week and started reading a thread started by someone who is claiming that they are 19.

Upon reading it I concluded one of two things. Either this is a casino surveillance employee playing a sick (and possibly funny) joke. Or this person needs some serious head – rectal extraction. I will now attempt to perform this extraction (or play along with the joke).  Here are a few snippets taken from the thread.  Premium members can read the full thing.

“I just started to learn all about blackjack and the advantages. I wanted to find a way to make some easy and quick money.” 

“Believe it or not i thought of selling drugs, but i wanted something with less risk.”

“i dont mind spending 12 hours + in a casino playing untill i come out with double the money that i came in with.”

“now since i know the basic stuff (but not the basic strategy guide) i feel like i want to go deeper.”

This has me so frustrated that I’m having trouble typing. Have we done this bad with the website or are you that much of a tool?!?!

Let’s call this person “sucker” because that’s what he is. Sucker, let me cut to it to you straight. The single most efficient way for you to move forward in your casino career is to try and get some money together. Borrow from family and friends and get a credit card advance or two. Then go to your closest casino and walk straight to the cage. Tell them you would like to make a donation and hand them the money. Save yourself enough for the cab fare home. Then never think about card counting again. Better yet, mail it to Legends Casino: 580 Fort Rd, Toppenish, WA 98948 and tell them to designate it to their buffet improvement fund. Right now their buffet is absolutely disgusting. Fish sticks and fruit cocktail. I’m not even kidding. If I ever go back to this place I would like to see something a little tastier and healthier. As of this point, this has got to be the most efficient way to get where you are heading and it could improve my diet as well. For how depressing that plan is, this is the closest that we’re going to get to a win win here. 

I will take one moment to speak to the rest of you. Blackjack is NOT quick and easy money. Pyramid scheme/Tony Robbins/Vitamin selling readers…..GO AWAY! We don’t want you around. While it’s suckers that keeps casinos and us in business, you make those of us that take this seriously,  look bad.

Less risky than selling drugs? That probably depends on your market? Are we talking inner city or urban? If I had any drugs to sell I wouldn’t trust them with you.

Really? You don’t mind doubling your money even if it takes 12 full hours? Would you mind losing all of your money if it took you 2000? There’s much quicker ways to lose money that will ultimately be way better for your lungs, not to mention that buffet improving.

So once you “know all the advanced stuff” you’re ready to go “deeper” to learn the most basic (that is why it’s called “basic strategy”) thing that exists in the card counting world?!  That’s like saying, now that I’m divorced I would love to go deeper and learn about how to not be a lying, cheating, selfish, sack of *crap.* Whoops….wrong way, Too LATE! Do not pass go.
