You guys are doing an amazing job. I’m in college and training a couple hours a day learning my basic strategy and deviations right now. You guys give the inspiration to stick to it because in the end it can really pay off. My goal is to make enough to attend boot camp with you guys!

I thought I was the only person who had numbers spinning through their head during practice or a game. Thanks for the info!

Great interview! Its always great to hear stories of how great players began their careers. Its even cooler to know that a great player, such as, Mr. Ofton actually made mistakes, i.e. basic strategy & betting (not putting out the max bets) when he started out. Then after putting in the work, he quickly improved his game and “Tested Out” .

    The podcast is excellent motivation.

Great interview. Giving the folks an insight into Mr. Ofton’s beginnings is definitley a motiviating factor to improve your game. It reinforces the notion that practice make perfect and that the underdog will win in the end.

Just a awesome interview again and I really like His advise on not becoming a AP player alone if You can help it, I think this is one of the top 3 tips on the whole site. He is spot on with this comment, I am doing it alone and it can be mentally draining. Great Job to Colin, He really does a first class job as well with these podcast as well as the whole site. I know that Colin said more are being done and on the way and Man I can’t wait. Great stuff. Also is Ben pretty much done with Blackjack and the site? Don’t here much about Him anymore.

  8. Colin says:

Ben is still involved with the site, but not with the content creation/day-to-day stuff. He has another business that is taking up a lot of his time, but we’re working together on creating software for BJA that should be ground-breaking.
